Two children died as they could not have been taken to hospitals because of occupiers' attacks - the general director of "Okhmat

The general director of the Okhmatdyt hospital, Volodymyr Zhovnir, wrote on Facebook that three seriously wounded children were to be brought to the hospital in Kyiv, but it was impossible to do due to the occupiers' shelling. Two of them died.

"Tonight, we needed to hospitalize three seriously injured children who had received gunshot wounds to the head and chest. However, ambulances could not pick up patients due to the Russian shelling. Two of them died. We are waiting for the arrival of another child," Zhovnir said.

Zhovnir added that the Okhmatdyt hospital is working. There are currently 185 children in the hospital who are continuing their treatment.

On 5 March, the Russian occupiers blew up an evacuation train and damaged the railway tracks in Irpin, near Kyiv.

As mentioned earlier, the evacuation of the population from Mariupol was postponed for security concerns since Russian troops continued to shell both Mariupol and its suburbs.
