The press service of the National Bank reported that the NBU allowed citizens not to provide supporting documents when moving foreign currency abroad.
"For the period of martial law, the National Bank of Ukraine has abolished the requirement for citizens to provide supporting documents of banks, namely the withdrawal of cash from their accounts and the purchase of banking metals when moving foreign currency outside Ukraine," the statement said.
Previously, natural people had to provide the relevant documents when moving currency values worth more than 10 thousand euros in equivalent.
At the same time, the requirement to declare currency values worth more than 10 thousand euros in equivalent remains valid.
On 2 March, the National Bank of Ukraine loosened many bans on foreign currency transactions.
The National Bank of Ukraine also opened a current account with the Ministry of Social Policy for humanitarian purposes.
