The Ukraine Minister of Finance Serhiy Marchenko spoke on Ukrainian TV channel “Channel 24”.
"We have exceeded revenue for February by 24 billion hryvnias. Our banks supported us. Italy supported us. We have help from the European Commission, the World Bank ($1.8 billion) and the Investment Bank will provide $ 600 million. The United States is guaranteeing loans up to $1 billion," Marchenko explained.
He also reminded viewers that the first auction of military bonds had taken place and announced a second auction.
"There is interest in our bonds, we are trusted, we are proving our solvency in a state of war," the Minister concluded.
As a reminder, on 1 March, Serhiy Marchenko met online with the financial leaders of the G7, the International Monetary and the World Bank.
