The town of Vasylivka, where the help arrived, has been shelled by Russians for the last few days.

The first humanitarian cargo arrived at the town of Vasylivka, in Zaporizhzhia oblast, the Zaporizhzhia regional state administration reports

“Local resident, risking his life because the humanitarian corridor was not yet set up, on his vehicle brought 10 tons of food, baby food, medicine. We have already unloaded the vehicle. We will distribute the products in Vasylkivka and neighboring towns according to the declared needs,” says the statement. 

According to the local authorities, Vasylivka has been shelled by Russians for the last few days. Stores and pharmacies are closed, and people constantly need to hide in the bomb shelters. 

As a reminder, Russian troops shelled Enerhodar and Zaporizhzhia NPP, located in the town, causing the fire on the station’s territory. The station’s staff was not injured. Three Ukrainian servicemen died, and two were wounded.
