The state will continue to pay the assigned state social benefits to people during the martial law plus one month after its end.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine made the relevant decision on the proposal of the Ministry of Social Policy, according to the head of the department Maryna Lazebna.
This decision applies to:
assistance to low-income families,
assistance for children of single mothers,
assistance for children under guardianship or custody,
assistance for children with serious illnesses who have not been diagnosed with a disability,
monthly financial aid to a person living with a person with a group I or II disability due to a mental disorder,
temporary state assistance to children whose parents evade paying alimony, are unable to maintain the child, or their place of residence is unknown,
monthly targeted assistance to internally displaced people,
temporary state social assistance to an unemployed person who has reached the general retirement age but has not acquired the right to pension payment.
"Also, if the state social assistance recipients missed the review period, the payment of such benefits does not stop for the period of martial law and one month after its abolition. First of all, it refers to persons with disabilities from childhood and children with disabilities; persons who are not entitled to a pension," the statement said.
After the abolition of martial law, the social security authorities will inform the recipients of the need to update the documents necessary to continue receiving assistance within one month.
In regions with the most extensive areas of hostilities, Ukrainians will receive 6500 hryvnyas from the state under the "Ye-Pidtrymka" ("E-Aid" or "E-Support") program. The funds will be credited from today.
