The Ukrainian drone Bayraktar destroyed a tank of the Russian invaders, which was difficult to reach with artillery.
This was reported by the press service of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade.
“During the fighting, when Russian armored vehicles were difficult to retrieve from grenade launchers or artillery, the 128th Brigade used Bayraktar drones from related combat units. It was impossible to aim at the three Russian T-80 tanks firing at our positions from the brigade artillery due to the peculiarities of the terrain, so the command turned to Bayraktar for help,” the message informs.
Then the drone was lifted into the air and in a few minutes the target was destroyed by an anti-tank missile from a height of about two kilometers.
It should be noted that Bayraktar TB2 is a Turkish strike operational-tactical medium-altitude unmanned aerial vehicle with a long flight duration. Development and production is of Baykar Makina.
