The drone Raybird 3 capable of performing tactical level tasks was purchased by the Foundation “Come Back Alive” for the Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance unit officers.
“This “bird” – is the best in its class, - the foundation said in its statement. – Raybird 3 can adjust the fire at a distance of up to 120 km. Therefore, the drone is able to help to the missile system “Tochka-U”, which warhead weighs (!) almost 500 kg” as well.
The drone consists of a ground-based control system, special catapult, and the plane itself. Raybird 3 is equipped with a camera that can transmit Full HD video in real-time mode in the range of 120 km.
“Raybird 3 is capable of flying for up to 24 hours, rises to a maximum altitude of 3500 m, accelerates up to 140 km/h and right now helps artillerists to massively remove the Russian militaries and military technology from our land,” – “Come Back Alive” said.
Also, two brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine operating in the South, received 40 thermal imagers, 40 laptops, 37 walkie talkies, 12 quadcopters of various modifications, 20 portable chargers, and 44 sleeping bags.
Three additional thermal imagers and a quadcopter with a night vision camera went to the Donetsk region from “Come Back Alive”.
“At the same time, we continue our work to provide the territorial defense in the Western regions, as well as police officers in these regions with reconnaissance assets and night vision optics. This is a small but necessary help which sometimes increases the efficiency of their work multi-fold, - volunteers said. – All these are supposedly small, point successes, but they are the ones that bring closer Ukraine’s victory in the war with the invader. And there will be more and more such successes and they will become bigger and bigger until we bring back our lands and people from the Russian occupation. "
