American lingerie brand Victoria's Secret is closing its stores in Russia. This is stated on the Russian website of the company.
Starting from tomorrow, not all stores will be open there, and online sales will also be closed.
"All orders placed by March 9, 2022 (inclusive) on the Victoria's Secret website will be delivered. We will notify you of the reopening of the online store and all retail stores," the statement said.
In addition, 1,500 KFC and Pizza Hut restaurants and Yum! Brands stop their work in Russia. This is written in the official statement of the Yum! Brands, Inc.
"This action is based on our decision to suspend all investments and development of restaurants in Russia and direct all profits from operations in Russia to humanitarian projects," the statement said.
The company will also provide $ 1 mln for humanitarian purposes. The funds will be donated to the Red Cross, UNICEF, the World Food Program, the International Rescue Committee and to support KFC restaurants staff in Ukraine.
KFC restaurants will also cater for refugees.
Earlier, Coca-Cola, a network of Starbuck cafes and "temporarily closed" Russian McDonald's restaurants stopped their work in Russia.
