More than 12,000 people left through the "green corridor" from Sumy on March 10.
State Emergency Service of Ukraine was reported about this.
"2664 cars, 54 - buses. In total more than 12 thousand people. These are columns from Krasnopillya, Trostyanets, and the regional center", - rescuers noted.
During the day, employees of State Emergency Service of Ukraine units provided assistance to citizens who wanted to leave: they helped people to put things on buses, carried out explanatory work, as well as provided psychological assistance.
More than 20,000 Sumy residents used the "humanitarian corridor" on March 9.
Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko said that about 48,000 people had been taken out from three destinations: Kyiv Oblast, Sumy, and Energodar.
