The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, addressed business representatives to resume work in safe regions. He stated this in an evening appeal to citizens.
"I want to talk to business again. Resume production, bring people to work, where it is possible. Bring back workers," he urged.
In addition, Denis Shmygal said that in those areas that are now the front, the work of the food industry should be resumed.
"Currently, one of the main tasks of the Government is to sow in those regions of our country where there are no war actions. Therefore, our priority is food crops.
We have intensified our work with farmers in this direction so that Ukraine is fully provided with the necessary amount of food. The work of food industry enterprises in those areas that are not at the front must be resumed, "Shmyhal said.
Ukraine's losses from destruction due to Russia's military invasion are at least $ 100bn, and the war led to the complete shutdown of half of the Ukrainian enterprises.
