Police detained the Kharkiv citizen who sold the Russians the coordinates of a bakery and a military facility for 40,000 hryvnias.

General Prosecutor Iryna Venediktova announced this information on her Facebook page. "On 25 February 2022, a monster from Kharkiv received a mobile phone call from a person unknown to it at the moment. The calling monster introduces himself as a Russian citizen and offers a reward of 40,000 hryvnias for providing important information - electronically marking the location of the city's critical infrastructure, that is, "Saltivsky" bakery and the "FED" (military facility). The monster from Kharkiv willingly accepts the offer and receives the promised UAH 40,000 on the bank card," she wrote.

Also, Iryna Venediktova said that on 1 March 2022, the Russian armed forces conducted an artillery attack, following the coordinates, near one of the objects.

"This is how they recruit: satellite surveillance, blackmail, keeping family hostages, ideological considerations, you might think… Yeah - 40 thousand hryvnias… the price of a monster on a market day," she said.

Today Russian troops launched an airstrike on the Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology, which stores sources of radiation used for scientific purposes.
