The worst situation with evacuation and delivery of humanitarian aid remains in the Donetsk region. It has not been possible to evacuate people from Volnovakha to Pokrovsk since March 5.

The real humanitarian catastrophe remains in Mariupol, the Minister of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, Iryna Vereshchuk, reported during the briefing.

“We were not able, again, to even bring humanitarian convoy there. Water, medicine, food did not make it to people who have been constantly shelled for several days now. The entire world saw the airstrikes that destroyed the maternity hospital,” she emphasized.

Vereshchuk stated that she demands from the peoples of the world, particularly Poland, the United States, Great Britain, to help their authorities make the humanitarian corridors in Ukraine work and close the sky over Ukraine.

“Help your governments feel that you seek freedom, democracy, that those are the values you will defend together with us. And we will fight, we will expel the enemy from our land,” the Minister noted.

The evacuation was successful in the last two days in the Sumy region, from where more than 60,000 civilians - women, children, and people with limited mobility, the elderly - were evacuated to Poltava.

In the Kharkiv region, about 3,000 people were evacuated from Izium to Lozova. Humanitarian aid, more than 100 tons of food, water, and medicine, was also delivered to Izium.

More than 20,000 civilians evacuated from Irpin, Hostomel, Vorzel, and Bucha in the Kyiv region yesterday, and the process is ongoing.

Vereshchuk noted difficulties with the Stoyanka checkpoint - people complain that they cannot pass there.

Enerhodar received more than 100 tons of humanitarian aid.

During today's address, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia does not allow the delivery of humanitarian aid to Ukrainian cities to create a propaganda image, as if Ukrainians accept and ask for help from Russia.
