Russia's aggression has already damaged Ukraine's infrastructure by about 120bn dollars, or about 3.6tn hryvnya.

First Deputy Economy Minister of Ukraine Denys Kudin announced it on the air of the “Rada” TV channel, writes "Ekonomichna Pravda".

According to him, the Ministry began to count the losses from Russian aggression from the first day of war.

Kudin explained that there are two main approaches: direct one-time losses, the cost of rebuilding bridges, roads, infrastructure, hospitals, kindergartens, and schools destroyed by Russia in Ukraine, and the amount of GDP lost.

“We see that in cities where direct hostilities are taking place, economic activity has stopped at ¾, 75% of businesses have stopped working. Some are evacuated, some are waiting for the end of hostilities. Every second business in Ukraine operates, which is a loss of 50% of economic activity, "said the Deputy Minister.

In particular, most metallurgical plants in eastern Ukraine have ceased to operate. This means a reduction in exports of metals, which made up a significant share in the structure of exports.

Russia's blockade of sea routes, particularly in the Black Sea, makes it almost impossible to export corn, wheat and oil.

Kudin noted that, according to the first method of calculation, the economic damage from aggression is 119bn dollars, and this number will continue to grow every day.
