Under martial law, the Cabinet of Ministers restricted the export of some goods.
The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Roman Leshchenko informed about it on his Facebook page.
"To prevent the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, stability of the market, and meeting the needs of the population in critical food products, the government has established new rules for the export of agricultural goods," Leshchenko wrote.
It is forbidden to export:
-
oat;
-
millet;
-
buckwheat;
-
sugar;
-
salt;
-
rye;
-
cattle and meat.
It means an export ban.
In case of specified declarative licensing, one can export:
-
wheat and a mixture of wheat and rye (meslin);
-
corn;
-
chicken meat;
-
hen eggs;
-
sunflower oil.
"It means the export is allowed, but one should submit the necessary information to the government and receive a free license during the day," the minister added.
Everything else, not mentioned in the list, can be freely exported according to the standard procedure.
We should recall that Ukraine has expanded the list of goods authorized for export by the Ministry of Economy with five items: wheat, corn, poultry meat, hen eggs, and oil.
The relevant resolution №207 was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers at a meeting on Saturday, 5 March 2022, and published on its website on Sunday.
