Israel won’t be the route for Russia to bypass sanctions imposed on the aggressor country for unleashing the war in Ukraine.
This was announced to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba by his Israeli counterpart Yair Lapid. The Minister expressed his gratitude on Twitter for Israel’s mediation efforts and humanitarian aid.
“We discussed ways of ending the war in Ukraine,” said Kuleba.

The parties also agreed that all the rights of Ukrainians arriving in Israel will be respected.
Yesterday, the Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak informed that Israel has agreed to mediate between Ukraine and Russia. An active dialog with Israel on humanitarian aid to Ukraine continues.
Earlier, the President of Ukraine proposed to conduct negotiations with the President of the aggressor country, Vladimir Putin, in Jerusalem with the mediation of Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.
