Zelenskyy: I invite all our friends to visit Kyiv. It can be dangerous

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed Ukrainians summing up the 20 days of the war against country-aggressor Russia. He reminded that today the heads of several states, Poland Mateusz Morawiecki, and the vice-Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński, the Czech Republic Petr Fiala and Slovenia Janez Janša visited Kyiv.

The President emphasized the importance of support for Ukraine and a visit when the Russian forces were shelling the capital.

"I was happy to talk to them face to face. When Kyiv is a target for the occupants, it is essential and brave to be here with us, with the friends. This is leadership!" said Zelenskyy in his video address.

"I am inviting all friends of Ukraine to visit Kyiv. It might be dangerous because our sky is not closed to Russian missiles and airplanes. The decision on reinforcing our air arsenal is not taken. We have not received the planes. Yet you know that the eyes of people worldwide look to this very capital, to the Ukrainians. We will thank everyone who's on our side. And not just us, all nations will thank. Those who are with us have a chance to become real heroes," added the President.

Zelensky talked about his address to the Parliament of Canada. "I thanked them for their genuine support. Canada was one of the first to help Ukraine, and I've called Canadians to preserve this leadership."

The President spoke of his upcoming Wednesday address to the U.S. Congress.

"An important event... Today I will express gratitude to Joe Biden and all friends of Ukraine in the U.S. for the new support package of 13.6 bn USD for Ukraine. The decree authorizing this fund is already signed, and we see it as the first step towards rehabilitating Ukraine," emphasized Zelenskyy.
