Russian forces destroyed 3500 infrastructure objects since the beginning of the war, informed the Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrsky during the live broadcast of the national telethon.
According to him, among the destroyed objects, there are 230 transport objects and 165 objects of essential services to the population, such as electric substations and gas pipes.
"Fully or partially destroyed education institutions - 72, medical institutions - 21. The number of destroyed residential buildings changes every day, and now it's over 2 700 destroyed buildings. Social service institutions - 10. Other objects including the building of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, National Police of Ukraine and others - over 400," informed Denys Monastyrsky.
The fire in the 16-storey building in the Svyatoshin neighbourhood of Kyiv killed three people.
