The Air Force Command reported that, at 5 am, the anti-aircraft missile unit of the South Air Command shot down two Russian Su-30SM fighters, which intended to attack a village in the Odessa region.
"The anti-aircraft missile unit of the South Air Command destroyed both planes. The pilots ejected and fell into the Ukrainian Black Sea, following their planes," the statement said.
On 15 March, the Air Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed three enemy planes with their air defence systems. They also shot down one Russian helicopter, three operational-tactical UAVs and two cruise missiles.
