Occupants attacked civil infrastructure in Zaporizhzhya for the first time

Oleksandr Starukh, head of the Zaporizhzhia military administration, informed that the Russian Armed Forces shell bombed civil infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia for the first time since the beginning of the war. Missiles hit the railway station and botanic garden. The number of casualties is currently unknown.

"Our morning wasn't that good. It started from the news that the Russian Armed Forces shell bombed civil infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia for the first time. Missiles hit the railway station Zaporizhzhia-2. Another one hit near the botanic garden," - Oleksandr wrote on his Facebook page.

Ukrainian state railway company "Ukrzaliznytsia" confirmed that neither the passengers nor the station personnel were wounded. It is the infrastructure that was damaged.

In particular, missile attack damaged the tracks and power lines, windows in the buildings and train carriages. Luckily, none of the passengers were in the trains at that moment.

After the attack, "Urkzaliznytsia" canceled and postponed some local train departures. They moved others to the central railway station.
