Leroy Merlin, a company specializing in selling goods for construction, repair, and gardening, has blocked Ukrainian corporate accounts. This was reported by "Economichna pravda" with reference to the HR director of "Leroy Merlin Ukraine" Liudmyla Dziuba.
We, 800 Leroy Merlin Ukraine employees, have been cut off from all corporate communications. At some point, we did not have the means to provide humanitarian aid and medical care to those who needed it. We cannot execute the orders from volunteers and defenders of Ukraine, as access to files was closed, " Dziuba said.
She noted that the company promised to restore access on 15 March 2022 but did not do so.
Leroy Marlene Ukraine is part of the international group of companies ADEO. Earlier, ADEO stated that it does not intend to stop working in Russia. However, in response to the parent company's decision, the Ukrainian office said it considered "our duty not to stop trying to convince the parent company that their decision is so painful for us."
