On Wednesday night, The General Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny announced on his Facebook page that two enemy aircraft were shot near Kyiv. 

"Just now in Kyiv region, we destroyed an enemy SU-25 and shot a SU-35. It's more than ten Russian airborne targets less in one day," he wrote. 

On March 16, Ukrainian air defense destroyed at least ten occupant airborne targets, including three Russian fighter jets SU-30sm, one SU-34 fighter/bomber aircraft, one aircraft of unknown type, two helicopters and one short-range drone.
