This was reported by the Belarusian opposition newspaper "Nasha Niva".

The report on the repatriation of their bodies does not mention that the men died in a Russian airstrike, most likely from Belarus. And the city in the Zhytomyr region is called a "conflict zone", although Belarusian officials and the media talk only about the "special operation in the Donbas", - the newspaper writes.

"On 10 March, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received tragic information about the death of two Belarusian truckers in the Ukrainian city of Korosten, Zhytomyr region.

They did not manage to leave the conflict zone and had to live in their cars, waiting for the opportunity to go to Belarus, "Nasha Niva" quoted the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

According to Foreign Ministry spokesman Anatol Glaz, it was the duty of the Belarusian side, "despite the complexity of the situation," to help the relatives of these people - to return home the bodies of their loved ones.

"To date, these works have been completed and the bodies have been delivered to the territory of the Republic of Belarus," Glaz said.

A few days earlier, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry reported that there were about 280 Belarusian trucks in Ukraine without the ability to leave. It was noted that trucks with drivers-citizens of the Republic of Belarus also continued to gather at checkpoints with EU countries: Hungary, Romania, Slovakia.

According to the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, 143 crews of Belarusian trucks were assisted in returning to their homeland both by car and on foot.

"Nasha Niva" named the Belarusian victims of the Russian bombing. These are 35-year-old Ivan Rogov from Mozyr and his 38-year-old compatriot and friend Dmytro Shylets.
