Among the people who died today during the shelling of the neighborhood in Chernihiv was a US citizen James Whitney Hill. This was reported by Suspilne.Chernihiv.
According to the media, James Hill wrote his last post on Facebook on 15 March 2022.
"It is impossible to take photos because of spies in the city. Moreover, the bombing intensifies; I do not know how to get out," the statement said.
The man was 67 years old.
Today around 10 a.m., the Russian troops fired at civilians in the center of Chernihiv.
According to preliminary data, Chernihiv City Mayor Vladyslav Atroshenko said that more than two hundred Chernihiv residents had died at the hands of the occupiers.
