Swiss President Ignacio Cassis met with Ukrainians in Poland over Russian aggression.
In his Twitter, Cassis stressed that "civilians need to be protected and humanitarian access has to be provided! With our fifth aid delivery, we support people in Ukraine."
The President of Switzerland visited the Dorogusk checkpoint on the Polish-Ukrainian border and met with local authorities, which organize assistance to refugees.

Cassis said that his country had given Ukraine about 500 tons of aid.
On 19 March, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appealed to the Swiss to support the people of Ukraine in the war against Russia.
In Switzerland, there are growing calls for the need to close all funds belonging to those Russians who are close to President Vladimir Putin. It is currently known that Swiss banks hold about $ 213 billion in offshore accounts owned by Russians.
