Russian strike at Obolon district in Kyiv kills one person, three other were injured

As a result of shelling of Kyiv's Obolon district, two residential buildings were damaged and a truck caught fire. Three people were injured and one died. This was reported by the Kyiv Regional Military Administration earlier today.

Another Russian rocket fired from Smerch (which means “tornado” in Russian, a truck-mounted, multiple rocket launcher) hit Dnipro River.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine noted that the shelling took place at around 1 p.m., fire was extinguished by 3 p.m.

The Kyiv Regional Military Administration noted that during all 27 days of resistance in Kyiv, Russian forces damaged 72 high-rise buildings, 6 private houses, 11 schools, and 5 kindergartens. 162 saboteurs were detained.

The military administration also reminded all citizens it is forbidden to use recording devices in cars in all regions of Ukraine, film military sites or transport and transit of weapons and military equipment. They have also asked to refrain from filming the results of Russian shelling.
