The United States has announced a new package of sanctions against the Russians due to the war against Ukraine. All deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and 40 defense companies were subject to restrictive measures.
The United States Department of the Treasury said the United States had targeted new sanctions on Russia's defense sector, Sberbank's financial leader Herman Gref and 328 Duma members who had contributed to the war.

More than 400 Russians and organizations have been added to the following sanctions list.
In particular, sanctions have been imposed on Tactical Missile Corporation JSC, producing hypersonic weapons, and more than 20 related companies.
The USA also took restrictive measures against JSC "SPC" Tecmash, a helicopter company (+ all related companies), and the Kronstadt joint-stock company (a defense contractor and UAV manufacturer).
"As a result of today's actions, all property and interests owned by the individuals mentioned above in the United States are blocked and must be reported to OFAC. In addition, if one or more sanctioned individuals directly or indirectly own 50 percent or more of any organization, it is also blocked. All transactions carried out by the US citizens within (or in transit) the United States connected with any property or interests owned by the defined blocked persons are prohibited unless permitted by general or special licenses issued OFAC. The prohibitions include any contribution, provision or receipt of funds, goods or services by or for the benefit of any blocked person or from any such a person," the US Treasury explained.
Transactions with Russian gold are also prohibited.
CNN also wrote about the possibility of imposing sanctions on all Russian Duma deputies, several hundred people.
Earlier, the United States imposed sanctions on the wife and adult children of the press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov and the State Duma members, including Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin and the Russian Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov. These people made efforts to recognize the LPR and DPR.
