The Verkhovna Rada voted for any audio, photo, and video recordings of the Ukrainian and international military equipment and weapons to be treated as a criminal offense.

This was announced by the member of political party "Golos " Yaroslav Zheleznyak, writes "Interfax-Ukraine".

Article 114-2 was amended in the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for penalties for intentional and illegal disclosure of information on the movement of international military assistance to Ukraine, as well as information on the movement or location of the equipment/weapons/staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military formations in Ukraine.

Such information may be disclosed publicly only subject to the permission of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

The offenders of the newly introduced law (during martial law or state of emergency) will be sentenced to imprisonment: i) from three years to five years for illegal disclosure of information about international military assistance to Ukraine; ii) from five years to eight years for illegal disclosure of information about military equipment of Armed Forces of Ukraine; iii) from eight to twelve years for the disclosure of any such information with the prior conspiracy by a group of people, especially for the purposes of providing such information to the Russian Forces or any other illegal armed groups.

Traitorous collaborators will be sentenced to up to 15 years of imprisonment.
