Today, around 7:15-7:30, March 25, a russian military ship has shelled the village of Sanzhiyka near Odessa. Three hours later, the general from this russian ship has claimed the creation of a humanitarian corridor for the safe passage of the foreign ships from the Ukrainian ports.

This has been reported by the press service of the Military Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“This is the general who gives orders for carpet bombing of Mariupol and other cities in Ukraine, based on his orders cars of civil population are fired at, who try to break away from the surrounded city using the humanitarian corridors. And now he proclaims a similar corridor for the civil ships, although none of the russian admirals has confirmed his words!” have emphasized in MNF UAF.

Based on the opinion of the Ukrainian military sailors, the attempts to present themselves from a human side are just a manipulation.

“If russia really intends to provide humanitarian missions, first, it must stop ruining the agreed humanitarian corridors, stop military actions, and take away its troops from Ukraine, and its ships from the solely Ukrainian sea economic zone,” has been stated in MNF.

From the first days of the invasion, the rf has proclaimed the northern-western part of the Black Sea as the military action zone, and started to fire at the foreign civil ships against the security norms of the civil seafare and international humanitarian law. The occupants have drowned the dry cargo vessel with the Panama flag “Helt” and damaged the tanker under the Moldavian flag “Millennial Spirit with the missile strikes. Two bulkers, “Namura Queen” and “Lord Nelson”, under Panama flag, have been shelled and heavily damaged while anchored in the northern part of the Black Sea.

Also, the russian military pirates have taken hostage the vessel of the Sea Search and Rescue Service “Sapfir”, which has been on a humanitarian mission.
