Ukrainian air-defense shot down three missiles launched from Belarus over Volyn

Ukrainian air-defense forces struck three Russian missiles over Volyn, informed the head of the Volyn Region Military Administration Yuriy Pogulyayko.

"According to the preliminary information, about 10 kilometers from Lutsk, our air-defense shot down an unmanned aircraft vehicle, possibly a missile. We are verifying details and will publish updates later," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Later, Pogulyayko clarified that the explosions that were heard about 9 PM local time were the four missiles launched from the airborne targets on the Belarussian territory.

Three missiles out of four were shot in the sky.

On March 11, a missile strike on Lutsk killed four people and injured six. It was announced that the four cruise missiles that hit the military airport were probably launched from the direction of the Black Sea.

The General Staff of the UAF estimates the probability of the advance by the Russian occupying forces from Belarus in the direction of Volyn as high.
