Air defence units of the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade of DShV brought down over three cruise missiles let out by the Russian troops obe the Mykolaiv region in the past 24 hours. The press service of the Ministry of Defense reported this.
Airborne soldiers successfully shot down the missiles from portable anti-aircraft missile systems.
"During the large-scale Russian aggression against Ukraine, the air defence units of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have shot down about two dozen enemy air targets. These include planes, helicopters, cruise missiles and unmanned aircraft vehicles. We keep working!" the Ministry of Defense said.
According to the General Staff, the Russian military has started to use aircraft less. Instead, they are launching missiles at Ukrainian cities more often. The enemy also moved additional artillery units to the border with Ukraine.
