"The Russians are unable to move forward, so they continue to attack civilians - houses in Severodonetsk and Rubizhne were shelled last night. The tragedy in Borivskyi with the death of a child and the injury of another is already known to everyone. Yesterday the Armed Forces of Ukraine expelled the enemy from one of the districts of Rubizhne. In total, in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, we repulsed five massive attacks by the Russian army in one day - tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, and other transport vehicles of the enemy were destroyed,“ Haidai said.
He also noted that rescuers managed to restore another pumping station in Rubizhne and supply people with water.
Haidai later clarified information on the consequences of the shelling.
The head of the Region Military Administration said that in Rubizhne before that one person was killed and one was wounded. The enemy also suffered casualties. Data is being reviewed.
