The peaceful demonstration took place on March 28 in Russian-occupied Energodar.

The mayor Dmytro Orlov informed about it.

"Energodar residents gathered for a peaceful demonstration to show once again that Energodar was and remains a Ukrainian city where Ukrainians live and work. People are demanding the release of Ivan Samoidyuk, first deputy mayor. They want to live in a free city under Ukrainian flags." – Orlov wrote.

Residents of Energodar gathered near the “Suchasnyk” Palace of Culture. People held placards with the words "No War", "Russians go home", "Freedom for Samoydyuk" and others. The participants of the demonstration also sang the anthem of Ukraine.
