Soldiers of the 128th Separate Mountain Zakarpattia Brigade have shot down the latest Russian Orlan-10 drone, which adjusted the artillery fire. This was reported on the Brigade’s Facebook.

With the drone, the enemy fired on military positions and peaceful villages along the front line.

The drone is equipped with video cameras with a viewing angle of 360 degrees and can rise to a height of 5 km, and in the autonomous mode, it can fly away from the control panel up to 600 km.

Its weight is 14 kg, the launch is carried out from a special catapult. With the help of this expensive device, russians not only adjust artillery fire, but also conduct radio reconnaissance and jam mobile communications. It flies at speeds of up to 150 km / h and can stay in the air for up to 18 hours.

‘This particular’ Orlan-10 ‘flew to the end' – it managed to reach only the positions of the 128th Brigade, and then ‘suddenly fell and crashed’.

Earlier, the defenders of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have hit 17 air targets the previous day - 8 planes, 3 helicopters, 4 UAVs of various types, and 2 missiles.
