As reported, on March 26, the Ukrainian military 93rd Brigade "Kholodnyy Yar" with the help of territorial defense and local guerrillas liberated Trostyanets from the russian occupiers. The Kholodnoyars managed to expel from the city the "elite" of the russian ground forces - the Kantemirov tank division.
While fleeing, the russian military left weapons, equipment and ammunition. The Ukrainian military will use them to liberate other Ukrainian cities.
Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, the head of the Sumy Regional State Administration, spoke about the situation in Trostyanets - the area of railway stations in the city is now completely destroyed, and there are many mines in the community.
