Ukrainian Minister of Finance, Serhiy Marchenko, on March 29, signed an agreement with the French Development Agency on receiving a loan of 300 million euros on preferential terms, the Ministry of Finance announced.
Marchenko said the provided funds are “essential for maintaining the stability of the financial system in the context of the full-scale war with the Russian Federation.”
Ministry of Finance reported that the loan is provided with a fixed interest rate of 1,04% per annum for 15 years (including the grace period for deferral of repayment of the loan for five years from the loan agreement date).
The French Development Agency's funds will be used to finance the state budget.
