The General Staff of the Armed Forces noted a withdrawal of separate divisions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from the territory of Kyiv and Chernihiv regions. But there is still a high danger of attacks by Russian occupiers on military and civilian infrastructure. The operational information of the General Staff confirmed this as of 12.00 on March 29.
“The enemy has a problem with strengthening and rotating the existing forces. In the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Armed Forces, recruitment units cannot form even one battalion and tactical team, due to the refusal of manpower to take part in the so-called special operation”, - the General Staff said.
In the Volyn direction, the unit of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus defends its state border, undertaking demonstration actions.
In the Polissya direction, the enemy`s actions are limited with artillery shelling, regrouping of existing units and their partial withdrawal to the territory of Belarus.
In the Northern region, the occupiers continue to blockade Chernihiv, trying to destroy military and civilian facilities. The enemy did not take active actions in the direction of Brovary.
In the Slobozhansky district, the Russian occupiers continue aviation and artillery attacks on Kharkiv and Barvinkove, trying to capture the city of Izyum. Battles continue in the area of towns of Kamyanka, Sukha Kamyanka, Tykhotske. The enemy increased the existing forces with separate units of the 1st Tank Army. The 200th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the enemy lost near Kharkiv two battalion and tactical teams and a special brigade commander, Colonel Denis Kuril. The losses of this regiment amounted to more than 1,500 of manpower.
In the Donetsk direction, the enemy increased its military influence and intensified assault operations on the most of directions. He undertook aviation attacks on the towns of Voevodivka, Rubizhne, Lysychansk, Kreminna, Zolote-4, Popasna, Toretsk, and Novgorodske. The main forces are concentrated to control the cities of Popasna and Mariupol. The enemy has no success. In the city of Berdyansk, the Russian occupiers are trying to restore the port infrastructure.
In the South Bug direction, the enemy, under protection of artillery, is taking measures to restore his military capability, resupply ammunition and fuel.
"The Defense Forces continue the defense operations in the Eastern, Southeastern and Northeastern directions.They are holding off the attacks of the enemy in all directions and drive the enemy out in some directions”,- the General Staff said.
