French Economy Minister Bruno Le Mer
France and Germany take measures in case of suspension of gas supplies from Russia.
This was stated by the French Economy Minister Bruno Le Mer and the Head of the Ministry of Economy of Germany, Robert Habeck, reports The Guardian.
"There may be a situation in which tomorrow, under a certain coincidence, gas from Russia will not arrive. We have to prepare for such variants, and that's what we do," - said Le Mer
Robert Habeck, in turn, said that Germany is ready for all scenarios, including the suspension of Russian gas supplies.
Earlier, on March 31, Volodymyr Putin signed a decree on the transfer of payments for natural gas from April with unfriendly countries to rubles.
Germany and France again rejected Russia's demands to pay in rubles, calling this an unacceptable breach of contracts and "blackmail."
