The russians have been spreading fakes for two days in a row about taking full control over Mariupol. In fact, they have only advanced one block and partially control the area around the destroyed Drama Theater.

Petro Andryushchenko, the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol said on Telegram

"The buildings of the evacuated regional prosecutor's office and the Security Service of Ukraine are located in this square. It is a russian exaggeration to call it control of the "city center". Proof of the lack of control can be seen in the interview of Gauleiter Konstantin "Trupozher" Ivashchenko. And also when looking at the places of "elections" and activities of collaborators and occupiers. It is all far from the center and can be called the outskirts of the city," he said.

According to Andryushchenko, Ukraine still controls the Primorsky district, part of the Left Bank in the Azovstal district, the coast from Azovstal to the port, the port itself and the actual territory of the factories.

"Even in terms of area, it is most of the city. So don’t believe and don’t fantasize," he stressed.

This is not the first time for russians to spread a fake about "taking control" over Mariupol, they did it before in March. According to the General Staff, full control over this and other cities in the Donetsk region is one of the enemy's goals.
