The US Embassy has published the excerpt from the Nuremberg trial transcript with the reference to Mariupol.

This was reported by the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.

The idea of creating such a tribunal was initiated by the former British Prime Ministers John Major and Gordon Brown with a group of prominent scholars and lawyers.

"As long as scared mothers and children are escaping bombs and bullets, Putin is committing the biggest international crime right in front of our eyes - aggression. There is a powerful way to bring him to justice: a new Nuremberg-style tribunal ... Without such responsibility, there will never be peace," the press service of the Ministry of Reintegration quotes the initiators of the process.

According to the Ministry, the petition in support of the tribunal should collect 2 million signatures.

"This will allow us to start working on the practical part. Within the first two days the petition was signed by more than 796,000 people from around the world. And today more than 1.7 million signatures have been collected," the Ministry of Reintegration said.

The Ministry emphasizes that anyone can sign the petition by following the link.

Recently, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Iryna Venediktova said that more than 40 countries support Ukraine in The Hague, and 10 countries have already launched their own investigations on the war started by russia.

On March 23, the US Embassy published the excerpt from the transcript of the Nuremberg trials concerning Mariupol.
