Iryna Vereshchuk, Vice-Prime-Minister – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, made public the results of work of 9 humanitarian corridors for April 10.
According to her, 2 824 Ukrainians were evacuated.
Vereshchuk informed that 2 622 persons reached Zaporizhzhia in their own vehicles and by evacuation buses through humanitarian corridors from Mariupol and Berdyansk.
213 of them were from Mariupol. Other 2 409 Ukrainians drove from such cities and towns of Zaporizhzhia Oblast as Polohy, Vasylivka, Berdyansk, and Melitopol.
As the Vice-Prime-Minister informed, the columns of buses that departured from Zaporizhzhia in the morning of April 10 to evacuate people from Berdyansk, Tokmak, and Egergodar, are blocked by russian occupational troops at the checkpoints in Vasylivka.
202 persons were evacuated from Lysychansk, Severodonetsk, Rubizhne, Kreminna, and Popasna of Luhansk Oblast.
As Iryna Vereshchuk pointed out, russia has violated the agreement on allowing the buses to pass to evacuate people from the said towns, for the second day. The russian invaders have broken the ceasefire agreed for the evacuation.
Note that 9 humanitarian corridors were agreed on for April 10.
On April 9, 4 532 persons were evacuated through humanitarian corridors. 3 425 persons were evacuated from Mariupol to Berdyansk in their own vehicles and then to Zaporizhzhia by buses.
