The Russian bombing of Kramatorsk railway station caused 57 deaths. There were five children among the victims, Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of Donetsk Oblast State Administration, informed.

“We’ve got 57 killed and 114 wounded people. Five children are among the dead. That is the number the Russian Tochka-U complex has already taken away at Kramatorks railway station,” Kyrylenko said.

On 8 April 2022 Russia hit Kramatorsk railway station with a Tochka-U missile. The fragments of the rocket contained Russian text: For children.

According to Kramatorsk head Oleksandr Honcharenko, there were about 4,000 people who were waiting for the evacuation at the railway station, when Russia attacked.

As of now, the railway station’s put its work on hold. The evacuation of civilians from Slovyansk, Pokrovsk, and Novozolotarivka of Donetsk oblast is still going on.
