More than 4.5 million Ukrainians were forced to leave the country due to war. The New York Times reports that updated UN data prove this.
According to the newspaper, most Ukrainians left for neighbouring Poland; it is more than 2.5 million people. Besides Poland, Ukrainians left for Romania, Hungary, and Moldova.
