The damage inflicted on Ukraine's atomic energy company Energoatom by Russian troops exceeds 18bn hryvnyas, the company has said on its Telegram channel.
“When the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant (ZNPP) was shelled, the russian occupiers damaged several facilities on its premises. A preliminary estimate of the damage is 18.3bn hryvnyas,” Energoatom said.
The facilities damaged by the russian military include:
- Buildings and equipment shelled during ZNPP assault. The building of the training centre was destroyed beyond repair.
- Atomenergomash power engineering company building that was shelled by a bypassing invaders column
- Atomremontservis power repair company equipment that was on ZNPP premises during seizure
