"Six russian agents operating under diplomatic cover whose activities were found to be contrary to our national interests have been declared persona non grata," the Chargé d'Affaires of the russian federation in France was informed on Monday night during a call to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This was reported by "Interfax-Ukraine" with reference to the French diplomatic mission.

As a result of a very long investigation, the General Directorate of Internal Security (DGSI) revealed on Sunday, April 10, “a clandestine operation carried out by the russian intelligence services on our territory," the statement said.

The move comes after France expelled 35 russian diplomats whose activities were found to be against France’s security interests.
