The russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed media reports that a note had been sent to the United States on arms supplies to Ukraine, reports European Pravda quoting Kommersant.
This information was confirmed by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Maria Zakharova, who said that a similar note was sent "to all countries (that support Ukraine with weapons, - editor)."
Earlier, The Washington Post reported a diplomatic note from russia to the US government with a "warning" regarding helping Ukraine with weapons. The russians said it was "adding fuel to the fire" and could have unpredictable consequences "for regional and international security."
Russia sent a note to Washington after US President Joe Biden approved allocating a broad defense package to Ukraine, including anti-tank weapons and coast guard armored vehicles.
Before that, Russia also distributed threatening notes before the UN Human Rights Council vote.
