As a result of enemy shelling, a train traveling from Zaporizhzhya to Lviv was damaged. No one was injured.
This was announced on Thursday, April 21, by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.
"The blast and wreckage smashed windows in four cars of the train #119/120 Zaporizhzhya-Lviv. There are no casualties, and the train is moving on, we will patiently change the windows in Kryvyi Rih," the statement said.
UZ [Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukrainian Railways] reminded passengers about the ban on filming from the train windows. If there is an alarm in the region through which the train passes, it is necessary to close the windows and not be directly in front of them.
"Our dispatchers closely monitor the circumstances and drive trains on safe routes, but strong explosive waves in the distance can also cause damage," Ukrzaliznytsia explained.
On April 13, the Russian military fired at the railway station in central Ukraine. This caused delays of 18 trains.
