Ukrainian Minister Announces Humanitarian Corridor from Mariupol for April 23

Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk announced a possible humanitarian corridor from Mariupol for the evacuation of civilians on April 23. She reported this in Telegram.

"There is a possibility that tomorrow we will be able to open a humanitarian corridor from Mariupol," Vereshchuk said.

The gathering point is on the roundabout near the Port-City shopping center.

Gathering time is at 10:00.

"In the morning, follow the official announcements. If all goes well, I will give confirmation,” Vereshchuk said. She also added that people need to be mentally and physically prepared.

"I understand how difficult it is for you. Corridors have been cancelled so many times, but you and I should try as many times as necessary until it works out,” the Minister said.

The humanitarian corridor for evacuation did not open on April 21, and before that only four buses managed to leave Marvupol during the corridor confirmed by the Russian side - the occupiers failed to provide a ceasefire.
