The russian occupiers fired at least six cruise missiles at Odesa. Dumskaya reported about this.

Residents of the city heard explosions in different parts of the city. These were both the arrivals of enemy missiles and the result of the work of the Ukrainian air defense. Several missiles were shot down. The local people saw explosions in the sky and falling debris.

At least one rocket fell and exploded. In one of the densely populated areas, a fire broke out in a residential building. The shelling continues.

Updated. The South Air Command stated that on April 23, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, it conducted combat operations to destroy enemy cruise missiles launched by russia's TU-95 strategic aircraft from the Caspian Sea. Soldiers of anti-aircraft missile units destroyed two enemy cruise missiles (previously X555 or X101), which struck the city of Odesa, and two operational-tactical UAVs, which allegedly corrected the flight of missiles and posed active obstacles to air defense.

Deputy Minister of Interior Anton Gerashchenko said three people were killed in a missile strike in Odessa.

As reported earlier, during the second phase of the "special operation" launched this week, the Russian army plans to establish full control over Donbas and southern Ukraine and provide a land corridor to Crimea.

Also, fighters of the anti-aircraft missile unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Air Force destroyed the enemy UAV "Orlan-10" on April 19 near Odesa.
