Specialists of the State Special Communications Service reported a possible increase in cyberattacks by the russian occupiers on Easter holidays.
This was reported by the press center of the department.
"Many will receive greetings virtually, via various messengers or e-mail. The State Special Communications Service warns that the enemy may use this to try new fishing cyberattacks," - is said in the statement.
The department advised:
- Do not follow any links received from strangers. Do not open attachments sent in emails from unknown addresses. Even if at first glance it seems that these are ordinary greeting cards or holiday videos.
- Be careful with similar messages sent from acquaintances. Even your loved ones may not know that they are inadvertently distributing a malicious link or attachment. Or their account may be hacked by cybercriminals.
- Do not share dubious information from unknown sources yourself.
- Make sure your social media accounts are as secure as possible. Set up a two-step login check. This will protect you from attempting to hack.
- Be wary of mailings with promises of cash payments or other "holiday help." Check such information on official sources.
