Ukrainian intelligence found out that there were almost no "people's militiamen" left in the so-called "DPR". Because most of them died in the battles near Mariupol.
This was reported by the press service of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence.
"In the battles in the Mariupol direction, the occupiers involved all the personnel of the so-called"DPR Ministry of Internal Affairs", including servicemen of "the DPR Internal Troops" and cadets of "the Donetsk Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs," - the statement said.
As the intelligence specified, the losses of the occupiers are:
Mariupol area:
• up to 1000 people - irreversible losses, including 26 cadets;
• over 2800 people - sanitary losses.
Other areas:
• about 500 people - irreversible losses;
• about 2100 people - sanitary losses.
According to intelligence, the lack of "law enforcement officers" has worsened the situation with the support of "public law and order" and significantly complicated further forced mobilization.
"Minister of Internal Affairs of DPR" has decided to appoint a special official investigation against the head of the "Donetsk Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs" and the chiefs of staff of the "Internal Troops of the MIA" over the loss of personnel," - the Defence Intelligence added.
There are first received from the blocked Mariupol confirmations of forced mobilization of men to "the DPR army" who will be sent to war against Ukraine.
Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk said that the occupiers are trying to organize their own corridor to evacuate people from Mariupol to Russia on April 23.
